Terms of Use

These terms cover the Suomi app ("the App"), published by 0Quantum ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to them. They sit alongside Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which also applies to the App.

What the App is

Suomi is a Finnish-language learning app. It is a study tool. It is not a language school, not a certification, and passing any official examination, including the YKI test, is not something we can or do guarantee.

Free use

The App can be used without paying. Free use includes a set number of new cards each day, unlimited reviews of cards you have already met, and part of the reading library. These limits are shown in the App and may change in future versions.

Suomi Pro

Suomi Pro removes the daily limit on new cards and opens the full reading library, all grammar drills, the placement test and your personal path. It is offered as:

• a monthly subscription, which renews every month;
• a yearly subscription, which renews every year;
• a lifetime purchase, paid once, which never renews.

Prices are shown in the App in your local currency before you buy, and include any applicable VAT.

Payment, renewal and cancellation

Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account, not by us. We never see or handle your payment details.

• Payment is charged to your App Store account when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• If a free trial is offered and you buy a subscription during it, the unused part of the trial is forfeited, as required by Apple.

Refunds

Refunds are handled entirely by Apple under their terms; we cannot issue, approve or refuse them. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you believe something is wrong with the App, write to us first; we would rather fix it.

Restoring a purchase

If you reinstall the App or move to a new device, tap Restore purchases in Settings, signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with. Purchases are tied to that account, not to a Suomi login. There is no Suomi login.

Your progress

Your learning progress is stored on your device only. We keep no copy and cannot recover it. Deleting the App deletes your progress permanently, and this is true whether or not you have Pro.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to extract, redistribute or resell the App's learning content. The content and the software are ours; buying Pro buys access, not ownership.

Content accuracy

We work hard on the corpus, but a language app is never finished and mistakes reach it. The App is provided "as is", without warranty that every translation, example or grammatical form is correct. Tell us what is wrong and we will fix it.

Changes

These terms may change as the App changes. The current version is always on this page, with the date at the top. Material changes to what Pro includes will not be applied retroactively to a lifetime purchase already made.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Finland. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer right you have under EU or local law.
